1. According to the classification of use, nuclear medicine radiological detection instruments and equipment can be divided into activity meter, radiological protection instrument, imaging equipment, non-imaging measuring instrument, and in vitro analysis instrument.
① Activity meter: used to measure the activity of radiopharmaceuticals.
(2) Radiation protection equipment: used for protection purposes to detect the environment and the radiation received by the staff. Commonly used are surface stain detector, environmental radiation monitor, personal dosimeter, etc.
(3) Imaging equipment: used for clinical imaging to determine the uptake, distribution and excretion of radiopharmaceuticals in patients, and display the results in the form of images. Commonly used are gamma camera, SPECT, PET, PET/CT.
(4) Non-imaging measuring instruments: used for clinical examination to determine the uptake and excretion of radiopharmaceuticals in some organs and tissues of patients, and display the results in the form of data and curves. Commonly used renal function tester, thyroid function tester and gamma counter.
In vitro analysis instrument: analysis of in vitro samples for clinical examination and research. Commonly used are well - type gamma counter, discharge meter and liquid flash meter.
2. The basic structure of nuclear medicine instruments and equipment consists of three parts: probe, electronic circuit and various additional parts.
① Probe: The use of rays and substances interaction produced by various effects (such as ionization, excitation, etc.), the radiation energy of the rays into electrical signals.
② Electronic circuit: the probe output electrical signal processing.
③ Various additional parts: play an auxiliary role. Equipped with frame mechanical system, electronic computer data processing system, automatic control system, display system and storage system, further improve the performance of the instrument.
